Technology is giving us the opportunity to delve into workplace territories untouched: relearning empathy and reconnecting with nature. Unexpectedly, tech tools are allowing us to adopt a new way of interacting with the workplace environment and allowing us to discover a sense of self.
The endless access to information in the world and our ability to personalize the voices we see can give us new insight into how we are able to interpret new and old information, as well as regaining our sense of control.
Design also works in tandem with this, with designers exploring new options that embrace differences and emphasize how those differences can bring us together.
Humans have touched virtually every corner of the world which has lead authenticity to be equivalent to self-expression.
The strain between natural and manmade allows for designers to take a more “raw” path. Exposed wood and stone give us a sense of connection and allow for a more satisfying human experience.
