Much has been said about the different needs of each workforce generation (Millennials, Baby Boomers, Gen X-ers, and now Gen Z), however a recent survey found that they all do have one thing in common: they want more flexibility in their professional lives.
A survey by Virtual Vocations found that workers from all generations are interested in flexible work policies and remote work options. Workers are asking for these types of flexible arrangements so that they can take better care of their loved ones and reduce the amount of time and money they spend commuting back and forth.
While Millennials are willing to work outside of their home, from coffeeshops or coworking spaces, Baby Boomers responded that they aren’t as interested in those options and would rather work from home.
