Breather has signed a deal to take up three floors in a former PG&E substation that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The flexible workspace operator will take up 11,817 square feet in San Francisco’s Financial District, which will feature private spaces as well as communal coworking opportunities. The space sits above Leo’s Oyster Bar. It will also have customizable floor plans that can be rented as three separate full-floor offices.
“565 Commercial St. is the blueprint for Breather’s next-generation spaces, which harness research-based design to support productivity, focus and activity-based work,” said Jenny Hahn, Breather’s director of Real Estate.
Currently, Breather operates 70 workspaces in San Francisco as well as 500 spaces globally. The Commercial Street location will be the company’s largest in San Francisco and members will have access to other Breather locations in the Bay Area.
