New phonebooth-sized offices will soon be popping up all around Tokyo’s train stations and airports for workers on the go.
The soundproof Telecube will be just 13 square feet and feature a seat, a desk, and power outlets. Mitsubishi Estate Co., office furniture maker Okamura, V-Cube Inc., and Telecube hope to install 1,000 of these spaces by 2023.
