Now, multi-brand retail store Showfields has opened up a new free coworking space in New York in order to provide customers with an experience that cannot be had online.
Tal Zvi Nathan, CEO of Showfields, explains that the blending of commerce and community workspaces offers customers the 5 C’s of consumer commerce: connection, convenience, content, curation, and community.
“Our strategy in making our fourth floor a coworking space centered around leaning into the community pillar of C-Commerce,” said Nathan. “We want Showfields to be a space where like-minded people can come together and build connections, and that’s exactly what they can do in the coworking space: get work done while simultaneously building relationships and sharing ideas.”
Nathan said that Showfields will differ from other coworking firms, such as WeWork, through having multiple brands and products just one floor away. Showfields also does not require membership — users only have to sign up for their newsletter.
The coworking space offers free WiFi, numerous seats and a roof deck terrace.
