Chicago-based coworking company Novel Coworking has opened its new space in downtown Orlando after purchasing the 100,000 square foot Angebilt building in January.”
While the coworking space takes up about 20,000 square feet on the second and third floors, the company can expand through all 11 floors.
Center Manager Alison Manzi said the company plans to use the entire 96-year-old building over the next five years
While many coworking companies typically lease from a building owner or operate as a manager of the space for the landlord, Manzi said ownership gives the firm more control over infrastructure and pricing.
