Amazon has delayed its return-to-office date to January 3, 2022 for corporate employees as cases of Covid-19 spike once again.
Prior to the postponement, Amazon employees were expected to return to the workplace during the week of September 7.
This news follows other tech giants like Google, Facebook and Apple adjusting their strategies due to the highly contagious Delta variant.
Amazon will not require proof of vaccination for workers returning to the office, deviating from what other large organizations plan to do. However, it will require that workers wear masks unless they have proof of full vaccination.
