New research from job review platform Glassdoor has ranked the top 10 companies for career opportunities according to Black workers.

These Are The Top 10 Companies For Career Advancement According To Black Professionals

As part of Black History Month, job review website Glassdoor revealed the top 10 companies for career advancements ranked by Black professionals. 

The top 10 companies for career growth opportunities according to Black professionals were:

  1. Delta Air Lines 
  2. Microsoft 
  3. Northrop Grumman 
  4. Deloitte 
  5. FedEx 
  6. Bank of America 
  7. Capital One 
  8. Enterprise 
  9. EY (Ernst & Young) 
  10. Chick-fil-A

Black employees saw diversity and inclusion as the most satisfactory portion of these companies, while senior leadership ranked the lowest. On a five-point scale, both factors came in at 3.6 and 3.1, respectively. 

However, Black employees were less satisfied with their employer compared to a wider sample of employees, ranking an average of 0.3 points lower than all work demographics put together.

In recent years, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts have become a bigger priority within the corporate world and research has shown this factor is critical in retaining employees. 

Companies that do not embrace a diverse workforce not only lose out on top talent, but they also suffer from the perspective of the consumer. Social impact and inclusivity are more important than ever, and without prioritizing this factor, businesses can suffer in the future.
