“After two years of remote work, employers returning to an in-office culture are looking for ways to make it a more positive experience for employees,” Jenny Wolski, SVP of Omnichannel Experience at Petco. “Pet-friendly programs can not only offer employers a competitive edge, they can also provide many health and wellness benefits for both people and pets.”

In order to help businesses adopt more pet-friendly policies, Petco has created a workplace playbook and toolkit that offers advice and guidelines to aid employers in the shift to an environment that supports workers and their pets.

The firm provides insight into why bringing pets into the workplace can be beneficial to employees, including helping improve their physical health, reducing stress, encouraging breaks outside, and more.
