WorkChew has acquired flexible office solutions firm KettleSpace, allowing it to expand its footprint within New York City’s flex office market.

WorkChew works by transforming hotels, vacant offices, and restaurants into workspaces, helping drive business to neighborhoods that may be struggling with low foot traffic.

“Flexible workspace is playing an increasingly central role in companies’ workplace strategies. We have been building our company to maximize flex space opportunities,” said Maisha Burt, CEO of WorkChew. “Combining forces with KettleSpace now enables us to be positioned as the industry leader in New York, a key market for us.”

KettleSpace launched in 2016 across New York City servicing both small businesses and enterprises.

Through this acquisition, WorkChew aims to better support the growing demand for flexible offices as people shift to hybrid work arrangements. By providing flexibility in both city centers and secondary markets, the company hopes to address the discrepancy of professional settings close to where workers live.
