Another major financial firm is urging employees to return to the office.
Jefferies Financial Group is taking notes from the likes of Goldman Sachs, encouraging employees to come back to the office instead of working in “lonely home silos” according to CEO Richard Handler.
“As long as Covid continues to be manageable, we need everyone back in our offices on a consistent basis so we can truly maximize our fourth and final quarter and the future that is ahead,” said Handler.
While Jefferies serves as yet another example of financial organizations eager to bring workers back into the workplace, Handler said that employees could still operate under a hybrid model when needed.
The dominos have already started falling for the financial sector, but whether this grand return to the office will penetrate the rest of the workforce may not be as clearcut.
