Here Are The Safest Countries For Digital Nomads

Software developer marketplace Lemon.io has determined the safest countries for digital nomads. 

Measuring societal safety, domestic and international conflict and militarization levels, Lemon.io was able to rank the most secure countries for traveling professionals in its 2022 Global Peace Index by the Economist Intelligence Unit.

The top 10 safest countries were: 

1. Iceland 
2. New Zealand 
3. Portugal 
4. Czech Republic 
5. Hungary 
6. Croatia 
7. Germany 
8. Norway 
9. Australia 
10. Mauritius 

Although New Zealand came second in the world, it is still ranked the most peaceful nation in the Asia-Pacific thanks to its falling incarceration rates, military expenses and terrorism impact.
