WeWork Adds Gym Equipment As Workplace Wellness Amenities Expand

The partnership brings connected strength-training equipment into select WeWork locations as fitness becomes a more common workplace amenity.

WeWork is adding Tonal connected strength-training equipment to nine U.S. locations as workplace operators continue expanding the types of amenities available to members, according to WeWork’s press release.

Tonal equipment is being installed at locations in California, Washington, Oregon and Texas. The rollout includes Tonal 2 systems and the company’s Ultimate Accessories Bundle.

Fitness Equipment Comes To Nine Locations

The installations are located at three WeWork buildings in Northern California, two in Southern California, two in Seattle, one in Portland and one in Austin.

WeWork private office members at the participating locations can reserve time with the equipment through the on-site community teams.

The partnership adds fitness equipment to WeWork locations as employers and workers continue to place greater emphasis on workplace wellness amenities.

Members Also Get Discounts

The partnership includes discounts for both companies’ communities. WeWork members can receive $1,000 off a Tonal purchase, while WeWork employees are eligible for $1,250 off for a limited time.

Tonal members will also receive 25% off WeWork On Demand bookings.

The rollout is limited to nine locations, making fitness equipment another amenity available at select WeWork workplaces rather than a network-wide offering.
