According to a new study from Convene, employee retention and workplace culture are among the biggest pain points for executives.
The national survey of almost 1,000 full-time employees showed that 77% of business leaders plan to adopt a hybrid work model over the next year, but navigating this new era of work won’t be so simple.
In fact, 76% of executive respondents said that retaining talent was an extreme or moderate pain point, with 74% saying the same about company culture.
As far as what employees want and need from the workplace, there is no one true solution.
The survey showed that work preferences varied among teams, with one-third saying they enjoyed working from the office, another third preferred working from home, and the rest finding a flexible office would be most convenient.
While there was no one-size-fits-all answer to workplace preferences, 92% of respondents did say they would enjoy some type of in-person meetups with their coworkers.
