International Workplace Group, the world’s leading provider of flexible workspaces with brands such as Spaces, Regus, and HQ, is unlocking significant business savings and efficiencies for its North American customers with a new benefits program.
Launched in collaboration with Core Affinity, a leading player in the group purchasing sector, and Varisource, an AI-enabled technology procurement consultancy, this new suite of offerings is designed to provide International Workplace Group customers with access to major discounts and purchasing support for a significant number of the world’s leading brands across hundreds of business expense categories.
Examples of savings that International Workplace Group customers can now access include up to 50% off car rental with Hertz, up to 60% off stationery with Office Depot, and up to 50% off shipping with UPS.
While historically, only the largest businesses have had access to these perks, which include internal procurement teams and volume discounts on technology tools and travel, this newly launched program aims to help companies of all sizes control operating costs and overhead, allowing them to accomplish more with less.
“For several decades, we have been at the forefront of helping businesses leverage the countless benefits of hybrid working,” said International Workplace Group Founder and CEO Mark Dixon. “We know procurement and vendor management have often served as a costly pain point for business, and we are dedicated to continuing to roll out new programs that make the world of work easier and more affordable for our customers.
While dedicated procurement support and discount programs have typically been reserved for only the largest companies, our latest partnerships with Varisource and Core Affinity will provide our customers in North America with access to even more resources and cost savings, allowing organizations of all sizes to benefit from International Workplace Group’s footprint and scale.”
Varisource is a free savings program that provides all International Workplace Group customers with one-on-one procurement support, as well as access to a variety of exclusive discounts, rebates, benchmarks, and renewal savings for more than 30,000 technology vendors spanning over 100 sub-categories, including cloud services, compliance, software, cyber security and more.
Users can experience significant savings on new and existing spend (25-30% on average) by leveraging Varisource’s assistance to renegotiate/renew their contracts or taking advantage of Varisource’s discounts on new spend.
International Workplace Group members can also benefit from resources through Varisource, including spend analysis and industry benchmarks, as well as one-on-one procurement support for vendor search, requests for proposals, and ongoing management of their technology vendor contracts.
“Companies, regardless of their size, regularly invest in vendors, but often don’t know if they have the right solution, best price or are overspending,” said Varisource CEO Victor Hou. “By partnering with International Workplace Group and its extensive North American footprint, we can help businesses small and large generate meaningful savings and receive white glove assistance to ensure they’re choosing the right vendors.”
Companies often lack the time and resources required to manage vendor contracts and renewals and get locked into an auto-renewal cycle with above-market prices without the chance to negotiate or view competitive counter offers.
Instead of International Workplace Group customers relying on generic search platforms to identify new vendors, Varisource helps companies buy new, cost-effective software or solutions.
In addition, International Workplace Group’s partnership with Core Affinity allows businesses of all sizes to gain instant access to pre-negotiated discounts from leading vendors across many expense categories, leveraging International Workplace Group’s customers’ collective buying power to meet their wants and needs.
Core Affinity’s marketplace of offers gives users exclusive access to major discounts, including car rentals, travel bookings, shipping, office supplies, and more – and up to 60% off list price across dozens of leading vendors in common business spend categories.
“The interactive marketplace we’ve uniquely created for International Workplace Group offers a simple interface and showcases a carefully selected set of blue-chip vendors. These vendors and contracts shared through their marketplace, which would otherwise be unavailable to most companies, will deliver millions of dollars in savings over the coming years,” said Core Affinity CEO Lucas McCann.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with International Workplace Group to help their affiliated companies leverage their collective purchasing power and, in turn, create a tremendous amount of value for their network.”
International Workplace Group has ambitious plans for growth, having signed 465 new locations globally in the first half of 2024 including adding over 200 centers to its U.S. network.
Its latest partnerships demonstrate the company’s continued commitment to meeting the needs of its customers, from providing high-quality workplaces in the heart of local communities where employees live and want to work to offering access to resources that increase productivity while reducing the costs of doing business.
