Flexible office solutions provider Victory Offices has been named the second fasted growing Australian company, in today’s Australian Financial Review Fast 100 list.
The firm, which focuses strictly on providing premium, executive-level office experiences, recorded an annual year on year growth rate of 171.1% over the past three years.
The business has grown rapidly since launching in 2014, currently operating 17 sites in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, as well as several suburban locations.
In an industry first, it recently launched an executive business lounge in the Melbourne CBD, exclusive to its growing membership base.
Chief Executive Dan Baxter said that in an increasingly competitive co-working industry, his firm remained focused on setting itself apart through offering a premium experience.
“There have been a large number of entrants to the sector in the past few years looking to capitalise on high rents and low vacancy in the commercial market,” Baxter said.
“Many of them leverage the perception that creating a more casual and social coworking environment is more important than a highly professional one.
“The community aspect is important, and sure there is a market for it, but for us the focus is on a premium, professional service that is appropriate for corporates, from mining companies to professional service firms, as well as start-ups.
“We have been steadfast in our belief that sharing an office doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a premium working space. I really believe that maintaining that direction has resonated with our target market and led to this wonderful acknowledgment.
“A full-service offering means you don’t have to engage any other third parties, like ICT and administration – we do all that for you. The idea is to allow businesses to focus on their own growth.
“And we certainly won’t lecture clients and their staff about how they should conduct their business – we simply give them the best platform to achieve success.
Baxter said that being recognized for such strong growth was a great reward for the Victory Offices team who were critical in ensuring the brand offering stayed consistent and kept clients coming back.
He added that the business is set to announce a raft of new deals over the next few months as the business continues a program of rapid expansion.
These include a further suburban location, and CBD locations, acquisitions designed to meet the booming demand for flexible space.
Victory Offices offer workspace solutions ranging from virtual offices, private offices, shared space, hot desking, co-working and day offices, as well as video conferencing and boardrooms.
The Fast 100 list is now in its 29th year. Entrants must have commenced trading before July 1, 2014, and provide four years of turnover data, with a minimum of $500,000 in the first reporting period (2014-15).
The Australian Financial Review seeks verification from external auditors or accountants and calculates the average annual growth rate over the four periods to determine ranking.
