Staples is dipping a toe into the coworking market by implementing a flexible space in its Kirkland, Quebec store.
Coined as the Staples Studio, the company revealed new branding with the tagline “Working and Learning Company,” as well as a new logo to reflect their emphasis on company collaboration.
The new store is modernly designed and has dedicated departments for tech, print and paper, and workspaces. Customers are also encouraged to test and learn about product solutions.
Consumers, entrepreneurs, and students can come together and network through the “Spotlight Speaker Series” that features weekly speakers and product demonstrations.
“The way people work and live is changing in profound ways and Staples Canada is adapting to help our customers work, learn and grow,” said David Boone, CEO, Staples Canada. “We spoke to thousands of entrepreneurs, teachers, students and parents to gain insights on what we could do to better suit their needs, and we’re delivering a solution unique to Canada.”
