New research from a team of millennials from PWC, Colliers International, CBRE, Deka Immobilien GmbH and HLW International analyzed stereotypes about working performances from their peer group and identified what really motivates young workers.
What Millennials Want From The Workplace, presented at the CoreNet Global Summit in Amsterdam, found that the majority of young workers believe that workplace design and flexible working are top priorities.
The research found that 98% of millennials consider culture an important component of the workplace. Additionally, 95% found that flexible work options are vital to a healthy workplace experience.
Furthermore, 87% believed that wellness in the workplace was important, while 80% expect healthy food options at work.
74% of millennials said that they intended to stay with their current employer for at least three years, which breaks down the stereotype that this generation job hops.
