24-hour Operations
Satellite Workspace Centers has seven sites across California offering coworking, private offices, virtual office plans, meeting and conference rooms to its members 24/7.
It uses a diverse range of technology to keep its centres up and running, including a “speech privacy” noise cancellation system, which is a rare and important innovation in its coworking centres.
The real jewel in its technical crown is “Satellite Deskworks”, which is its feature-rich cloud-based operations platform. Members can access the platform from any device to make reservations, pull a statement, update profiles and payment methods, interact with other members, and see their usage and account status.
Different billing cycles can be set up and wifi access allocated to guests. When a member makes a reservation through the platform, they’re also automatically sent wifi access codes that are active from half an hour before to a half an hour after their reservation. And a member can add “co-members” onto their account and select the appropriate permissions.
Barbara Sprenger, CEO of Satellite Workspace Centers, said:
“Our members love that they get such clear invoices, (automatically of course) that show them their regular recurring charges, any reservations swept at their price rate, any reservation credits subtracted, any additional charges posted, and all broken down by the type of charge. Then the whole thing is automatically charged to their payment type on the right day.”
