IWG has teamed up with Nordic workplace furniture designer Nornorm to outfit its flexible offices with sustainable furniture.
Nornorm rents out its furniture on a subscription basis, allowing operators to incorporate ESG (Environmental, social, and governance) practices into their space.
Instead of disposing of old items, the company refurbishes and reuses its furniture and gives customers the ability to scale up or down as needed.
“This means that the design of offices should be inspirational and encourage productivity with inviting interiors and spaces, supporting sustainability standards at the same time,” said Annelou de Groot, regional director of partnership growth at IWG.
Through this new partnership, IWG will redesign its various flexible offices with Nornorm’s products, starting with its Signature and Spaces brands.
Nornorm will first be featured at IWG’s Signature Central Park location in Utrecht, Netherlands that is slated to open at the end of the year.
