It’s common knowledge that Mondays and Fridays are when workers feel the antsiest to get out of the office.

Oftentimes, professionals want to ease in or zoom out of the work week, which is why Mondays and Fridays were the least popular days in the office. However, by the time midweek rolls around, workers feel rested and prepared to take on their in-person responsibilities.
One by one, word travels and workers realize their work bestie prefers the goalpost-feeling of coming into the office on a Wednesday. This causes an uptick in activity across the board as employees unofficially declare these as collaborative days.
