According to sources, Tesla will conduct a hiring freeze during the first quarter of 2023. This comes as analysts slashed their price targets for the electric vehicle-maker.
Some experts cite Elon Musk being distracted as a reason for Tesla stock falling in recent months, as he has gripped headlines with his short reign as Twitter’s CEO.
Last June, Musk said that Tesla would be cutting its salaried workers by around 10%
Musk in June said Tesla would cut salaried employees by roughly 10% over the next three months.
