While 2023 seems to be the official beginning of returning to the office post-pandemic, headlines may be instilling unfounded fears into employees.Â
According to data from The Conference Board, just 3% of executives across the U.S. would be limiting their remote work policies. This makes the likes of major brands like Disney and Starbucks part of the minority.Â
Even Elon Musk, who has infamously resisted any form of remote work, surrendered to the inevitably of the model after his plans to bring employees back into the office full-time led to a massive employee exodus.Â
Although some household names are confident in their return-to-office mandates, the data suggests 2023 will actually be a year to iron out hybrid work.Â
Many companies have taken the time to identify a balance between remote and in-office work. While some organizations have given workers full autonomy on their work schedule, others have opted for a more rigid approach that requires employees to be in the office on certain days.
