5 Pet-Friendly Coworking Spaces Where You Can Bring Your Best Friend To Work

From dogs in meetings to cats on keyboards, pet-friendly coworking spaces create a more relaxed and connected work vibe.

Coworking has greatly improved the way professionals work, by offering flexibility, community, and a refreshing alternative to traditional offices. But what if you could bring your best friend to work, too?

Across the U.S., more coworking spaces are welcoming pets — particularly dogs — into their shared environments. Beyond the novelty, pet-friendly workspaces offer real benefits: they help reduce stress, encourage spontaneous connection among coworkers, and even increase productivity. For freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers alike, having a furry companion nearby can make the workday more enjoyable and grounded.

We’ve rounded up five coworking spaces that welcome pets, each with its own thoughtful policy and unique take on how pets contribute to vibrant, inclusive work cultures.

1. Industrious (Select U.S. Locations)

“We’ve found that for many, pets spark conversations, lower stress, and add a sense of home that helps people do their best work,” Jennifer Reilly Kelmer, Director of Ops – North America at Industrious told Allwork.Space.

Industrious offers pet-friendly policies at select locations where the building permits it. Dogs are the main guests of honor, and they’re treated with VIP (Very Important Pup) perks — like doggy headshot days, “bark-cuterie” happy hours, and surprise welcome gift bags filled with toys and treats.

Members must review and sign the Rules & Regulations and Waiver & Release prior to bringing a dog onsite. Service animals, of course, are always welcome in all locations.

Policy highlights:

  • Dogs only
  • Required signed waiver
  • Locations vary based on building policy
  • Special events and amenities for pets

2. The Lab Miami (Miami, Florida)

The Lab Miami offers a structured, permit-based approach to pet access, reflecting their commitment to a peaceful, professional atmosphere. Their dog policy requires members to apply for a dog permit, which is reviewed and renewed biannually based on behavior.

“Permits will be renewed every six months based on behavior of the dog and owners,” Gustavo Saldana, Community Assistant of The Lab Miami, told us.

Dogs must remain leashed unless inside a private, enclosed area (like an office or reserved conference room), and they must not be disruptive or display threatening behavior.

Policy highlights:

  • Dogs only, permit required
  • Behavior-based renewals every 6 months
  • Leash required in open spaces
  • No furniture access, and no excessive barking
  • Three-strike policy: two incidents can result in temporary permit revocation

3. Corporate Coworking (Las Vegas, Nevada)

In Las Vegas, Corporate Coworking takes a more open (and quirky) approach.

“I would say any pet, minus bugs, can be brought in… I’ll pet anything from llamas to snakes,” Drea Laughrey, Community Manager at Corporate Coworking, told Allwork.Space.

The pet policy is flexible — any animal is allowed, so long as it’s not a bug. That means you might find yourself working next to a hamster, cat, or even a snake. This radically inclusive approach is rooted in the belief that pets provide companionship and emotional support to workers.

Policy highlights:

  • All pets welcome — except bugs
  • No formal policy required
  • Focus on mutual respect and community harmony

4. The Village Workspace (Centennial, Colorado)

“Everyone loves that there are dogs in our space. We try hard to enforce all dogs being on a leash at all times to ensure the experience is pleasant and not intrusive,” The Village Workspace told us.

Their pet policy emphasizes leashed and well-behaved pups and ensures that dogs aren’t intrusive to other members. While only dogs are currently allowed, the community’s general response to canine coworkers has been overwhelmingly positive.

Policy highlights:

  • Dogs only
  • Signed pet policy required
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times
  • Focus on a respectful, comfortable environment for all

5. Createscape Coworking (Austin, Texas)

“Any pet that is not disruptive is fine. We usually just have dogs come in, but we’ve made accommodations for cats before as well. It adds a casual and fun atmosphere to have them around,” Createscape Coworking told us.

Createscape in Austin strikes a relaxed but mindful balance. Members can bring pets of any kind, as long as they’re well-behaved and not disruptive. A short pet policy form ensures owners understand their responsibilities — like avoiding squeaky toys and cleaning up after their pets.

Policy highlights:

  • Dogs, cats, and other non-disruptive pets welcome
  • No additional fees
  • Must sign a pet policy form
  • Owners must supervise and be responsible for their pets at all times

From structured permit systems to pet-friendly happy hours, these coworking centers are redefining what it means to bring your whole self — and your pet — to work.

It’s clear that for many professionals, sharing a desk with a furry (or scaly) companion is part of a healthier, more human work experience.

So whether you’ve got a lapdog, a lounging cat, or a leash-trained lizard, there just might be a coworking space out there that’s ready to welcome you both.
