The Wing has opened a new location in an already coworking heavy neighborhood that features spaces from operators WeWork, The Yard, and Workbar.
Opened in October 2016, the Wing operates coworking spaces catered to self-identifying women. Their newest location in Boston’s Back Bay joins a network of five other spaces in New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and a future location in Los Angeles.
WeWork was the leading investor in the company’s latest round of $32 million. The coworking giant said it was “looking at this as a very long relationship” with The Wing, where “nothing is presupposed but nothing is off the table either.”
The new space will have numerous amenities including two penthouse floors with a seasonal terrace, showers, lockers, conference rooms, phone booths and a lactation room.
