Toronto-based coworking space Artscape Daniels Launchpad is providing the city’s creative community a place to collaborate and receive mentorship.
The 35,000 square foot facility is located within the Daniels City of Arts office building and features art studios, a coworking space, events area and was designed by Quadrangle.
The design studio were given the task of creating a “luminous, accessible, and tech-enabled interior that would inspire creativity and professionalism in equal measure.”
In contrast to the newness of the property, the space includes upcycled or handmade tabletops, hand-painted wall tiles and a ‘board room’ with floors and walls finished with wood flooring from a high school gym. It also includes industrial and natural lighting across 90 workshops, meeting room, studios and quieter areas.
