CHICAGO (January 21, 2020) — Deskpass announced today that it has added shared workspaces and conference rooms in Jacksonville, Tampa-St. Petersburg and Orlando. The innovative monthly coworking subscription service is now available in Florida’s four largest metropolitan areas, giving remote workers and freelancers a convenient and affordable way to find a space that fits their needs and personality. Deskpass launched in Miami in February 2019.

“We couldn’t be more excited to expand Deskpass in Florida,” said Sam Rosen, cofounder and CEO of Deskpass. “As populations surge in Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando, remote working is growing, too. Deskpass allows you to try multiple locations to find the right one for you, without having to make a pricey long-term commitment.”

Using its website or mobile app, new subscribers can sign up for a free trial of Deskpass’s “mini” plan and work at up to four locations per month. After the trial, the plan is $49 a month, which represents a significant savings over the day rate at most spaces. Monthly Deskpass membership includes access to its entire network of more than 450 coworking locations and hundreds of hourly workspaces in 19 cities nationwide. The website and mobile app allow members to filter locations by proximity, amenities, parking options and more.

Five coworking locations are available in Orlando, three are available in the Tampa-St. Petersburg metro area, and three are available in Jacksonville, with more coming soon in each city. There are also 17 hourly options available, including meeting rooms, private offices by the hour, and training rooms for 20 or more people.

For those who work remotely more often, the part-time plan includes up to eight visits a month for $99, and full-time members can use the service 20 times in a month — or every day Monday through Friday — for $199. Part-time and full-time members may visit each coworking space up to five times a month, and unused days roll over to the next month. Annual plans are also available.

“Millions of Americans now work remotely, and while some are happy to work at home, many people prefer a more active, communal and inspiring environment,” Rosen said. “Deskpass is an excellent tool for remote workers to transition into a more professional, work-focused space instead of home or a noisy coffee shop. We partner with a wide variety of providers, from local independent coworking spaces all the way up to multicity networks, making it a fantastic way to explore coworking and connect with a vibrant community of other remote workers.” He noted that a survey by market research firm Clutch found that 76% of coworking employees spend three or more days in their coworking space.

In addition to coworking options, Deskpass offers the ability to book hundreds of conference rooms, private offices, training centers and additional meeting spaces by the hour at a discounted rate. The service takes the legwork out of searching for a meeting room in an unfamiliar city, and makes the reservation process fast and easy.
