WeWork is rolling out its new pay-as-you-go workspace option following a pilot program in New York City.
The new service, dubbed WeWork On Demand, enables more flexible access including coworking by the day and meeting rooms by the hour.
Previously, access to WeWork office space was available on memberships charged by the month. This new offering negates the need to become a member, with bookings available online through the company’s app.
The program is being expanded across 30 cities. The company said it is making the daily access available in more locations in response to customer needs, “as employees demand more flexibility and companies embrace hybrid and remote models.”
