Newmark Group has acquired a majority stake in Paris-based flexible office operator Deskeo, allowing it to expand its presence across Europe.
Deskeo, which has over 50 locations, was acquired by New York-based operator Knotel in 2019. However, Knotel recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was subsequently acquired by Newmark this year.
Barry Gosin, CEO of Newmark, says this new acquisition is a “testament” to the company’s confidence in the flexible office industry.
“Particularly as companies contemplate their headquarters, satellite and remote office strategies, our ability to provide a full spectrum of solutions via a single platform, from strategy to workplace design to workforce enablement, is invaluable,” said Gosin.
