Industrious has signed two new deals in Boston, marking its first expansion in the region since before the pandemic.
The coworking operator will be teaming up with Oxford Properties for 26,000 square foot space in downtown Boston that is expected to open in June.
This location will be located on the 26th floor of the 225 Franklin Street office tower, which features amenities such as a golf simulator, conference center, bike room, showers, lockers, and a retail space that includes salad restaurant Sweetgreen, fitness facility Equinox, and a coffee shop.
The second location slated to open in August will be located in Dedham, Massachusetts, which is the first Boston suburban location the company has opened. Industrious’ management deal with WS Development will see the coworking firm take up 35,000 square feet of space at the mix-use development Legacy Place.
“This is a very exciting expansion for Industrious as we’ve been in Boston for several years and have been looking for the right opportunity to expand to the broader area outside of the city,” said Peri Demestihas, senior director of real estate at Industrious. “Being able to open in such a successful and established development as Legacy Place is exactly that.”
