UK-based coliving brand Gravity Co has locked in £5 million in funding to fuel its expansion plans for 2023.
The company plans to use the funds in order to expand its flexible living presence across Europe, giving members a chance to live in community-focused spaces across Barcelona, Milan, and Paris.
Gravity hopes to reach 1,000 beds by the end of 2023 as the number of digital nomads, freelancers and remote workers continues to rise, driving demand for more flexible living arrangements.
Aside from expanding its footprint, Gravity will also look towards offering its first social membership for non-residents, allowing people that don’t live in the space access to a variety of events, discounts and more.
“It’s truly an exciting time for Gravity,” said Riccardo Tessaro, cofounder and CEO of Gravity. “We’ve had a great run in the UK over the past few years, even during extremely challenging times and are ready to take our brand international.”
