The Schoolhouse founder Brian Faherty has remodeled an abandoned Pittsburg police homicide bureau into a coworking space and retail hub.
Faherty and Matthew Ciccone, CEO of coworking operator Beauty Shoppe, teamed up to revamp the 1970s space which is now dubbed “The Detective Building,”
The Schoolhouse stripped the building back to reveal its steel supports and industrial piping, while steel tank desks have been upcycled into new tables.
The Detective Building also has a cafe and flagship store for Schoolhouse’s lighting fixtures and furniture.
