Citibase, one of the U.K.’s leading providers of flexible and serviced office space has opened a vibrant new work hub in Oxford, which will provide over 10,000 sq ft of flexible and affordable serviced office space.
Housed inside New Barclay House, the centre provides the perfect space for start-ups, entrepreneurs, SMEs and larger corporates looking to join the flexible working revolution.
The new centre is Covid-19 secure with touch-free access, enhanced cleaning and state of the art tea and coffee services, all controlled through your smartphone.
The centre also boasts coworking spaces, a range of break-out spaces, custom meeting rooms and the reception area has been transformed into an Oxford inspired ‘open park’, designed to bring the outside in and showcase the beauty of the local area.
Citibase Oxford provides local SMEs ultimate flexibility as we enter into a new way of working. The centre offers a time share program for customers who only require office space for one or two days per week allowing them to collaborate with team members whilst maintaining a general work from home policy.
New Barclay House sits just on the outskirts of Oxford with all the amenities of Oxford in close proximity. The quick and easy access to M40 and M25 provides seamless access to London and Oxford train station is a 15 minute walk away and only five minutes on the bus if you take advantage of the park and ride available at the centre. Customers who take a space at Citibase Oxford before October 1st will also benefit from a free meeting room in London once a week.
Steve Jude, CEO of Citibase, comments: “Citibase Oxford will provide much needed affordable office space that allows local businesses to thrive, with the flexibility to easily change the size of their space as they grow without the financial commitment of typical long lease commitments. In light of Covid-19 and the increase in flexible and hybrid working habits, the opening of Citibase Oxford is reflective of a booming sector that is showing particularly strong growth in the regions outside of London.”
Additionally, Citibase’s customers in London will be able to access the new Oxford centre for free through the company’s new initiative, Citibase Local. This will allow staff who live nearby a change of scenery from working from home, without having to get on public transport into London.
