Citibase, one of the U.K.’s leading providers of flexible and serviced office space, part of the NewFlex portfolio, has opened a vibrant new work hub in the market town of Halesowen, seven miles west of Birmingham, which will provide over 10,000 sq ft of flexible and affordable serviced office space.
The new centre forms part of the Citibase Local network. Customers who take space in a Citibase Local hub automatically get free access to a Citibase London office one day a week for key client meetings or team get-togethers, allowing reduced commuting and reflecting today’s shifting hybrid nature of work. Additionally, Citibase’s customers in London will be able to access the new Halesowen centre for free through Citibase Local.
Housed in the impressively refurbished Trinity Point building, jointly developed by Land Capital and Urban Village Capital, Citibase Halesowen offers customers ample onsite parking, stylishly designed breakout and communal areas and modern, state-of-art meeting room facilities, all just moments away from the hustle and bustle of Halesowen town centre.
Situated just two miles from the M5 Motorway, and seven miles west of Birmingham City Centre, the centre also provides fast access to London and the South-East and is part of the prestigious West Midlands conurbation.
The new centre is Covid-19 secure with touch-free access and enhanced cleaning. The centre also boasts coworking spaces, a range of break-out spaces and custom meeting rooms – all of which are designed for physical distancing.
Citibase is part of the NewFlex portfolio, powered by Newable. NewFlex delivers and manages a range of branded flexible office solutions for every type of location and occupier. All workspace solutions benefit from the common NewFlex platform, from demand generation, to building management and compliance through to account reporting, yield optimisation and planning.
Steve Jude, CEO of Citibase, comments: “Reflecting the rise of regions, Citibase Halesowen will provide much needed affordable office space that allows local starts ups and businesses to thrive, with the flexibility to easily change the size of their space as they grow without the financial commitment of typical long lease commitments.
“In light of Covid-19 and the increase in flexible and hybrid working habits, our Citibase Local initiative will also allow customers to enjoy the best of both worlds, utilising our London office spaces part time should they require it.
“With our roots in Birmingham, Citibase Halesowen forms a key part of our expansion plans around the West Midlands area.”
