Most Employers Will Offer Hybrid Working To Retain Talent

According to the 439 U.S. employers, hybrid working was the most popular offering, followed by 44% who will offer flexible hours, 43% who will provide full-time remote work, 37% who will offer flexible schedules, 13% who will offer compressed workweeks or schedules, and 13% who will extend their business hours to accommodate flexible start/stop times

“According to the survey, hybrid work is poised to become a common feature of the post-pandemic working world,” said Andrew Hellwege, Surveys Editor at XpertHR. “In short, for many organizations, it appears the future will be hybrid.”

In terms of motivations behind offering flexible work arrangements, employers cited that retention was their main reasoning, followed by recruiting talent, improving work-life balance, employee wellbeing, and employee input.

Hellwege added that based on this data, employers have come to realize the intensity of the competition for talent and are willing to make the necessary adjustments to their policies to ensure they keep their best workers aboard.
