UrWork Lands Another Round Of $$
Chinese coworking giant, UrWork, raised US$29.4 million in a Series C round of funding from Aikang, a health and hospitality firm in China. According to e27, “the two companies will co-develop a novel coworking model, set to launch in the first half of 2018.”
WeWork Officially Opens In India
The coworking giant, WeWork, opened earlier this week the doors to its first India location in Bengaluru, called “WeWork GAlaxy”. BW Disrupt reported that WeWork is also planning on launching two more locations in India, one in Koramangala and the other in Whitefield. The article also reports that WeWork Galaxy can cater to up to 2,200 members.

Australian Local Government Invests In Coworking
Business News Australia reported this week that the state-government granted $110,000 to Geraldton-based social enterprise Pollinators, to help promote startup initiatives. Of the $110,000, $30,000 will go to coworking space CityHive to help it develop its new project CreativeHub, which has brought life back to two former empty buildings in.
