A new competition to win six months’ free office space in Liverpool or Aberdeen is giving entrants the chance to get their business off to a flying start.

The #StartMeUp Pitch, organised by UK serviced office provider Orega, invites start-up businesses and entrepreneurs to write a short business pitch and submit it via their website by 10 November 2017. Orega will then review the entries and shortlist five candidates per location. They will then have their chance to pitch face-to-face at either Orega Liverpool or Orega Aberdeen to win the office space.

Orega’s lucky winners will receive their own four-person office free of charge for six months, complete with business broadband, a phone and the support their business needs to grow.

Two runners-up at each location will receive a Virtual Office package for six months.

The prestigious office locations at 20 Chapel Street, in the heart of Liverpool’s thriving commercial district, and Aberdeen’s striking Silver Fin Building on Union Street, are both new Orega centres.

The competition follows on from the success of Orega’s first #StartMeUp Pitch, which took place in Manchester earlier this year and saw entrants going head-to-head to win an office at Orega MediaCity.

Suzanne Machray, Head of Marketing at Orega, said: “This second phase of our #StartMeUp Pitch marks our expansion in the North and our first Scottish venture. What better way to celebrate than by giving entrepreneurial talent a showcase and the opportunity to win a fantastic prize?

“Liverpool’s renowned for being full of entrepreneurial talent and Aberdeen has a flourishing start-up scene too, so we’re excited to see who’ll enter #StartMeUp. We’re hoping to discover two amazing up-and-coming businesses that really deserve a helping hand.

“Being in a business environment that’s sure to impress can make a massive difference. Our centres offer the perfect space to help inspire growth and creativity. So if you think you have what it takes, then we’d love to hear from you!”

Full information on how to enter the #StartMeUp Pitch for Liverpool or Aberdeen, including terms and conditions, can be found on Orega’s website at https://info.orega.com/startmeup-pitch. The closing date for competition entries is 10 November 2017, with pitches taking place later in the month.
