Melissa Hanley is the co-founder and CEO of Blitz, a San Francisco-based interior design and architecture firm. She, like many other entrepreneurs and office managers, believes that a work environment has a direct impact on employees and company productivity.

By creating a healthy work environment, she believes that companies as a whole can prosper. Blitz functions through a flat organizational structure that encourages communication amongst all employees. This method has evolved her 20-person company into 4,000,000 square feet of workspace.
