Venture X has signed a lease to take up 22,000 square feet of space in downtown Detroit’s West Congress Street.
Vik Panchal, the franchisee for this space, said he expects there to be availability in the first quarter of next year.
“The overall coworking trends are on the uptick,” said Panchal. “We think it’s going to be a unique offering in terms of private offices. I think it’s going to be a little different than the coworking space in general that you might have seen.”
Venture X offers rotating desk space, single offices and offices that accommodate multiple employees.
Currently, there is around 472,000 square feet of coworking space in and around Detroit from 16 different operators.
