Charlotte-based coworking space Hygge is in the middle of renovating half of its Remount Road location to include a large group fitness room, smaller training rooms and two studios for activities like yoga and weightlifting.
Founder Garrett Tichy said that fitness coaches can rent out the space and have their own classes, but Hygge will also host classes.
The fitness facility will be available to all Hygge members and non-members can get their first week free, as well as a discount for their first month.
The membership includes unlimited internal training classes, yoga classes, discounts on massages, access to fitness app SweatNet and other wellness services. Non-members will also be allowed to have access to the coworking spaces.
“Hygge is the brand that facilitates all of this, but it’s space,” said Tichy. “It’s how we use and leverage all of these amazing, talented people to build something cool.”
