Shared office company Knotel has hired John Jureller, former managing director at private equity consulting firm Accordion Partners, as its new chief financial officer.
This move comes as the company works to cut back on growth to reach profitability. In January, Knotel’s head of corporate finance left the company and the firm laid off about two dozen sales and marketing employees.
Knotel CEO Amol Sarva is committing to being more “open and accountable” as the company faced scrutiny over vacancy rates, late payments and pullback on leasing activities.
