Landmark Space, the UK flexible workspace operator, has partnered with global technology and software company essensys to deploy transformational digital services across nine more London locations spanning 400,000 sq. ft.
Ranging in size from 20,000-60,000 sq. ft., the workspaces – which Landmark Space acquired when it merged with flexible workspace brand The Space in 2019 – are located across the breadth of the capital from Shoreditch and Old Street in the east, to Aldgate and Liverpool Street in the City and Mayfair and Regent Street in the West End. The installment of essensys’ technology will unify The Space locations with Landmark’s existing technology, creating a seamless experience for clients when moving from building to building.
Landmark Space aims to enhance client experience in each location through automating the customer journey, which is made possible with essensys’ technology. It now operates 41 flexible working locations spanning seven UK cities, serving more than 11,500 clients every day. essensys has been Landmark Space’s strategic technology partner across its whole portfolio since they first started working together in 2009.
essensys’ technology provides an easier way to control and manage digital services, using intelligent automation to streamline processes. Customers can be seamlessly onboarded immediately, and benefit from enterprise-grade Wi-Fi connectivity and private secure networks.
essensys’ software can be managed by non-technical staff, removing many of the manual, time-consuming, technical processes usually required when managing occupiers and digital services. It also provides valuable data and insights on occupancy and network usage, helping drive more informed decision making in today’s world of hybrid work.
James Lowery, Chief Customer Officer at essensys, said: “We’re really proud to have worked with Landmark Space since 2009, and to have played a crucial role in its expansion journey over the last few years as its strategic technology partner. Landmark Space’s commitment to adopting innovative technology across its flexible office portfolio has created a brand which prioritizes creating seamless experiences for its customers – and we look forward to strengthening and evolving our relationship as its client base and number of locations grows.”
Luke Andrews, Head of Technology at Landmark Space, said: “Over the past few months, we’ve invested in upgrading The Space buildings in our portfolio to align with our clients’ standards and expectations. Integrating technology that makes our clients’ working lives easier is the foundation of great client experience, and we’re excited about the transformational impact essensys’ software will have across our spaces. As our portfolio has grown, so has the strength of our relationship with essensys, whom we rely on for connectivity, functionality and support.”
essensys’ software and technology is used in 270 cities globally, by leading real estate and flex brands such as Hines, Studio by Tishman Speyer, Bruntwood and Serendipity Labs.
