JLL New Zealand has launched its Future of Work research that highlights the company’s views on the evolution of the workforce and how it will impact corporate real estate.

“People are at the heart of every enterprise—from the visionaries who bring their ideas to life, to the countless employees who every day keep the vision alive and growing,” said Dinesh Acharya, JLL Australasia Director of Workplace Strategy.
Acharya said that businesses are realizing the value of creating a workplace where people want to be can make the difference of how firms operate strategically and operationally.
JLL’s research also revealed that traditional offices are finding off-site workplaces to be big competition, with 33% of people stating they work from other places such as coworking spaces or cafes.
A study from The Economist Intelligence Unit and the Harvard Business Review that surveyed 197 companies across the world found that companies only delivered 63% of their financial value because of the lack of human experience.
Creating memorable work experiences can impact how productive people are as well as employee engagement, which can then determine its success or lack thereof.
