As Millennials and Generation Z become a larger portion of the workforce, the culture of work is evolving. Now, agile workplaces, flexible offices, and remote working are all staples in today’s work practices.
Flexibility seems to be the foundation in which many companies function nowadays. Workers have started having the option to work from home, a coffee shop, or a hotdesk at a coworking space.
Embracing digital technology has also led the path to change. Because these younger generations grew up surrounded by technology, it becomes second nature for it to be incorporated into their work habits.
For example, in order to keep remote workers engaged with one another and create a sense of teamwork, using a software platform that includes voice chat, video conferencing, and data can help combat the feeling of isolation.
To create a truly effective workplace, firms must focus on providing employees with various work zones to cater to both collaborative projects and individual work and reliable, fast WiFi.
