A new survey from Wildgoose has found that 40% of people under the age of 45 find flexible working to be beneficial to their mental health.
The survey featured answers from employees across 114 companies. It found that the 14.3% of respondents that are not allowed to work flexibly are considering a career move to a company that offers flexibility.
62% of employees had taken days off in the past year for mental health reasons and many employers sighted wanting to do more to support mental wellness in the workplace.
The majority of respondents (70%) believe that having flexible work options have improved their work-life balance. 53% believe that in the case of an emergency, the situation could be resolved without affecting work.
