São Paulo-based company BeerOrCoffee has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round.
The new funding into the flexible office marketplace was led by Kaszek and brings the company’s total amount raised to around $13 million since it was founded in 2017.
The company is described as a B2B marketplace that allows businesses to gain on-demand access to hybrid work solutions. Currently, it features over 1,1000 shared workspaces, such as WeWork and Selina, across 160 cities in Brazil.
The company also offers a flagship offering called OfficePass, which is a subscription that allows employees to access a network of offices where employers can pay for what they actually use.
“On one hand we improve people’s work/life balance and productivity and on the other, we optimize companies’ costs and time with an as a service model and centralize all their workspace management in a single dashboard,” said Roberta Vasconcellos, CEO and cofounder of BeerOrCoffee.
Vasconcellos added that the pandemic fueled the company’s growth as companies shifted to remote and distributed work arrangements.
