Now Is The Perfect Time To Take Up Remote Work Incentives

To combat this, some areas are offering incentives of $10,000 or more just to relocate to their city and participate in its economy.

Workers from public-facing industries have fallen in the last few years due to the pandemic, so states struggling to fill in these positions want to incentivize those living in other regions to boost their workforce and business activity.

For instance, in Alabama’s Shoals region, a person can receive up to $10,000 for moving to the area for a year.

Additionally, Tulsa launched its Remote Initiative, giving 1,700 people who move to the city the ability to receive $10,000, access to coworking spaces, help in finding living arrangements, and more.

As the workforce becomes increasingly distributed, now is the perfect time for remote workers to move, especially those who are seeking a lower cost of living and want to explore new regions in the U.S.
