One of the most prestigious families in London is opening its own boutique coworking space.
The Howard de Walden Estate, who are responsible for owning much of London’s Marylebone neighborhood, will open the coworking space in the West End by mid-2023.
Located on Queen Anne Street, the 10,000 square foot office will stretch across two townhouses for up to 200 members. The Spacemade-ran location will feature amenities including meeting rooms, private offices and more to accommodate companies that want more agile lease offerings.
Following instability of the overall real estate market, the family is seeking to diversify its portfolio. Despite the newfound popularity of remote work models, coworking is seeing renewed interest from companies large and small as many transition to a hybrid arrangement.
“These offices will provide a private configuration where occupiers can have their own space and communal touch points in a high quality environment,” said Julian Best, property director at Howard de Walden.
