The global digital education market is growing rapidly. It is estimated that it will grow from $8.4 billion in 2020 to $33.2 billion by 2025, making it one of the fastest-growing sectors of the post-pandemic era.
Talent Garden, a European coworking network that also offers online/offline digital courses, is capitalizing on this demand by acquiring a majority (54%) stake in Hyper Island — a tech school of excellence in UX and games design.
Talent Garden also recently raised $73.5 million from investors such as 500 Startups and Social Capital.
The combined entity says it will have expected revenues of €50 million in 2022, 20,000 professionals trained a year, and 5,000 students placed on the job market “with a 98% placement rate and more than 4,500 start-ups and digital innovators as teachers and community members.”
