LinkedIn debuted a new campaign ad over the weekend during the NFL AFC Division Playoffs, marking the new era of the workplace.
The campaign describes the normalization of working from home, how it can impact career development, and provide new opportunities for professionals.
“For the past few years, we’ve seen a change – perhaps you’re seeing it too. It’s a change in not just how we work, but why we work and a shift in how people are making work, work for them,” LinkedIn stated. “With this comes a change in how the world is defining what being ‘professional’ really means – and we want to hear what it means to you.”
LinkedIn will feature the ad across various social media channels, as well as video and audio platforms and expand the promotion to incorporate member stories that relate to the campaign.
This campaign marks a huge shift in workplace culture where flexibility, community, and authenticity are a part of everyday life and being represented on our TV screens.
Just a few months ago, the social media platform introduced a new “Remote” filter on its job search function, making it easier for users to find positions that allow them to work from home.
